Floating Rotor.

The OEM 305mm rotor was never meant to survive sustained track use. The PF-01 rotor grows to 345-355mm with a precision-machined 6061-T6 aluminum hat, floating on 6-8 titanium bobbins. The ring expands independently under heat. Warping is eliminated by design.

The factory single-piston slider generates 4.4 in² of clamping area. The Dynapro-13 delivers 5.98 in² — a 35% increase at equivalent line pressure. Thermlock pistons insulate the caliper body from rotor-conducted heat, keeping brake fluid below the vapor point on track.

The CCM Racing disc weighs 2.5 kg where the iron ring weighs 6.4 kg. That is 3.9 kilograms of unsprung mass removed per front corner. The icooh CCM matrix handles sustained thermal load that would destroy iron in endurance racing.

Critical: CCM discs require matched pad compounds — Pagid RSL29, AP Racing CP8350, or Brembo Z04. Standard iron pads destroy CCM surfaces within 1-3 heat cycles.

Installation

The Install
Process.

Full first install by a competent shop technician: 8–12 hours including alignment. Subsequent rotor or pad swaps: 2–3 hours. This is a system installation, not a bolt-on.

01
Remove OEM System
Compress front caliper pistons and hang — never let the caliper dangle on the brake line. Rear caliper piston winds back using a cube-drive tool — it does not compress. OEM rear prop valve bypassed, not left in series with the Tilton valve.
Time: ~1.5 hrs · Both axles
02
Mount Brackets & Hats
Install PF-01 billet aluminum brackets to knuckle — M10×1.25 Grade 10.9, Loctite 272, torque to spec. Slide hat onto hub (65.1mm bore, 5×110mm pattern). Torque bobbins in star pattern.
Time: ~2 hrs · Loctite cure: 24 hrs before track
03
Install Calipers & Lines
Mount Dynapro-13 front, Powerlite rear. Connect parking brake cable to Powerlite mechanical arm. Tilton inline prop valve installs in rear line, pre-ABS module. Stainless braided lines recommended.
Time: ~2 hrs · Verify no line tension at full lock
04
Bleed & Bias Set
Bleed full system, DOT 5.1. Set Tilton valve: 750 psi rear at 1,000 psi input for street (75/25), 820 psi for track (70/30). Verify pedal feel — no sponginess indicates correct bleed.
Time: ~1 hr · DOT 5.1 required for track use
05
Bedding Procedure
Mandatory before aggressive use. 8–10 moderate stops from 45 mph, never stopping fully. Then 3–4 harder stops from 55 mph. CCM discs require lower initial temps — follow icooh protocol. Keep car rolling throughout.
Time: ~30 min · Skipping this voids the rotor warranty
06
Alignment Check
Any bracket change shifts effective rotor position. Full four-corner alignment required after install. DS Series coilover install additionally requires corner weighting to 50% ±1% cross-weight.
Time: ~1.5 hrs · 4-corner scales required for DS
Customer Reviews

From The
Track.

"Installed the Iron Street kit on my 2014 Dart SE. The pedal feel difference is night and day — firm, progressive, and predictable. Finally a brake system that matches what the Dart chassis is capable of."

"The CCM package with the DS suspension is a complete transformation. The bias valve takes maybe 20 minutes to dial in. Braking from T1 at BHF is now my overtaking point — the car stops where I want it to stop."

S. AlvarezGrand Rapids, MI · Dodge Dart GT 2015
Time Attack · BHF · Best 1:42.381

"I've owned four Darts. Fernando has forgotten more about the Tigershark platform than most people will ever know. The 3.33 payment plan made a $9k kit accessible. No other company is even trying to develop this platform."

Frequently Asked

Common
Questions.

Will this work with my factory ABS?+
Yes. The ABS module is retained in full. The Tilton inline proportioning valve installs in the rear brake line upstream of the ABS module. Your ABS, traction control, and stability control all continue to operate normally.
What's the difference between Iron Street and CCM Racing?+
Iron Street uses a 345mm iron rotor ring. CCM Racing upgrades to icooh carbon-ceramic matrix discs: 355mm front, 290mm rear (custom OD). The CCM front disc weighs 2.5 kg vs 6.4 kg iron — a 3.9 kg unsprung mass reduction per front corner. CCM also includes BC Racing DS Series coilover, Falken RT660+ tires, and full track validation at Blackhawk Farms.
Can I use my existing brake pads with CCM rotors?+
No. Standard iron-compound pads will destroy CCM disc surfaces within 1–3 heat cycles. CCM discs require matched ceramic-compatible pads: Pagid RSL29, AP Racing CP8350, or Brembo Z04. These are included with CCM Racing kits.
What is the 3.33 Performance Covenant?+
21 bi-weekly payments of $333.33. Each payment unlocks a specific build milestone — parts order, machining, assembly, track validation. Track every step at build.pftheory.com.
How do I verify my kit is authentic?+
Every PF-01 kit is issued an authenticity token on Coinbase Base L2 at the final milestone. The token is permanently linked to your VIN in the PFTheory vehicle registry and verifiable on-chain at any time.
